To users of x64 RPCS drivers

To avoid a newly discovered page counting issue, please change the driver setting shown below. If you are participating in the Meter Click service contract, please contact your service representative or original point of purchase for further assistance.

What is the issue?

An extra blank page is added to the end of duplex jobs with an odd number of pages. This blank page is counted in the printer page counter. If a Watermark is applied to the job, it will be printed on the added blank page.

Workaround

As a workaround to this issue, please enable the "Do not print blank pages" setting under the Misc. tab of the driver’s Printing Preferences.




Checking your driver version

The version of the driver is shown in the "About" window.
To access the "About" window, open the driver's "Properties" and click the "About" button in "Printing Preferences".
