SP 3200SF – Powerful all-in-one device for great versatility and USB simplicity

Rex-Rotary today announced the introduction of the new SP 3200SF, a fully featured multifunctional desktop device targeted at small workgroups and personal users. This compact A4 black and white device delivers fast digital copying, professional quality printing, faxing and colour scanning. In addition, it comes with a range of convenient functionalities, such as direct USB printing and scanning, duplex as standard, efficient distribution and remote device management. In short, the SP 3200SF equips users with the most coveted tools in today’s fast moving business environment.

Sanae Miki, Product Manager at Rex-Rotary, feels Rex-Rotary cannot ignore the rapid growth of the market segment of black and white PC devices. “Now is the time to act and further develop this new sales channel in order to truly establish Rex-Rotary as a provider of PC products”, she says. “The introduction of the SP 3200SF enables us to compete with the high speed all-in-one devices offered by our competitors. Furthermore, by expanding our share in the PC segment we are one step closer to becoming a leader in the low-end market.”

The all-in-one SP 3200SF is particularly interesting for small offices or workgroups that want to avoid the clutter and hassle caused by multiple office peripherals. As a true space saver, this plug-and-play desktop device integrates digital copying, PCL printing, professional faxing and colour scanning. Connectivity interfaces include Ethernet for installation in a network environment, parallel port and high speed USB 2.0 (local connection). Macintosh users are not left out as PS3 also enables them to print easily.

High-quality documents of up to 600 dpi can be produced at a quick 28 pages per minute (ppm) at A4 size. With a fast first output speed of less than 8.5 seconds users will not waste valuable time waiting for their documents. To efficiently handle urgent jobs users can directly print from or scan to a USB device without requiring a connection to a PC. Duplex comes as standard to help users save paper, while the 550-sheet maximum paper capacity reduces the need for user intervention.

The SP 3200SF comes with a range of convenient tools. With the handy ‘scan to’ functionalities, users can send scanned documents directly to any e-mail address, PC, dedicated network folder or FTP-server. SmarThru4 document handling software lets users edit scanned images, save them in various formats and set up copy and print formats in a few straightforward steps. The device’s status can be remotely monitored and checked from the user’s desktop through common web browsers using Web Image Monitor.

The SP 3200SF is the latest addition to Rex-Rotary’s advanced range of digital office equipment. Rex-Rotary currently manufactures one of the world’s most extensive line-ups of printers, copiers, scanners, faxes and multifunctional devices, as well as providing advanced software solutions.
