Unlock copy flexibility from laser printers with Rex-Rotary’s PSC433dc colour scanner

Rex-Rotary, leading provider of Total Document Solutions, introduces the PSC433dc – an innovative A4 colour scanner that can be connected to multiple Rex-Rotary printers, unlocking added copy functionality.

The PSC433dc meets a variety of demands, offering unbeatable flexibility.  As a standalone or network-ready device, it can connect directly to compatible Rex-Rotary laser printers to provide invaluable copy, print and scan functionality.  Reliable document tools increase workflow efficiency, whilst fast performance and the ability to handle both multi-page and double-sided documents mean that the PSC433dc is perfectly equipped to meet the everyday document needs of small workgroups.

Rex-Rotary’s network-ready PSC433dc comes with Ethernet and USB 2.0 as standard, this allows fast connection to single or multiple printers, extending occasional copy functionality across the whole office network.  Embedded document distribution tools, included with the Rex-Rotary PSC433dc, save time and provide a convenient way to easily share, store and save information.  ‘Scan-to-Email’ and ‘Scan-to-Folder’ enable documents to be sent directly to any email address or network folder.  This offers a faster, more secure and more cost-effective method of document distribution for users, who previously relied on more traditional forms of communication, such as fax. A standard ‘pull-out’ keyboard ensures these tools are exceptionally easy to use.

“By allowing customers to unlock additional copy functionality from their existing Rex-Rotary laser printers, the PSC433dc offers a highly-flexible and cost-effective solution to the document needs of smaller workgroups and offices,” explains Pui-Chi Li, Product Marketing Manager, Rex-Rotary.  “Whether customers are seeking this occasional copy functionality from their printers, or simply require an efficient scanner that can operate independently or connected to the office network, the PSC433dc is ideally positioned to meet their needs.”

The PSC433dc’s flexibility is matched by strong performance.  Sharp 600dpi resolution, prompt warm-up times and scanning speeds of 17 pages per minute (ppm) for colour and 33ppm for black and white documents ensure high quality and maximum efficiency.  Further productivity is delivered by the Automatic Reverse Document Feeder (ARDF).  This feature allows double-sided and multi-page documents to be handled easily.  As well as enabling lengthy documents such as contracts and agreements to be scanned, stored and shared efficiently via the network, this feature also makes the PSC433dc a useful tool for archiving important paper records.
