| Rex-Rotary’s CS555 Offers Fast Colour Performance for Professional Reprographic Environments | | Rex-Rotary, a leading provider of Total Document Solutions, announces the CS555 – combining fast colour print, copy, and scan functions with a range of professional finishing solutions in a compact device, ideal for professional document environments |
The latest addition to Rex-Rotary’s range of hybrid colour devices offers rapid print speeds - 55 copies per minute for colour and 60 copies per minute for black and white. This impressive performance enables the CS555 to handle both colour and black and white documents in a single device. A tandem link option is also available, doubling this already-powerful performance by enabling print jobs to be shared across twin machines. A range of professional finishing features are offered with the CS555, allowing professional-looking documents to be delivered as efficiently as they are produced. A 100-sheet stapling function is complemented by booklet finishing, cover interposer and tab printing features, facilitating the production of high-quality materials for maximum productivity. “The CS555 offers a persuasive blend of performance and finishing functionality, making it the ideal choice for print rooms or copy shops,” explains Jason Thompson, Product Manager, Rex-Rotary. “What’s more, all these features are delivered in a remarkably compact device - the small footprint enables precious space to be conserved in professional document environments, where numerous machines traditionally compete for room.” A choice of print controllers is offered for CS555 customers. Where outright performance is more of a priority, the ‘Fiery’ controller combines a 2GHz processor with utilities for printing solutions, colour management and PostScript functions, creating an even more powerful device for high-demand print environments. If these features are not required, the CS555 also offers a Print/Scanner kit. Rex-Rotary’s CS555 is also able to accommodate a range of different media, for maximum versatility. 256gsm paper stock can be accepted via the integral bypass tray, thanks to Rex-Rotary’s 4-tandem drum technology. Automatic adjustment to different thicknesses of paper is another useful feature, minimizing the likelihood of paper jams, whatever media is required. Other advantages include large paper capacity of up to 7,400 sheets, the ability to accommodate paper sizes above A3, and the capacity to print transparencies, helping to address the various demands of print environments.
